Listen on…
My good friend Jill Stanton is letting me spill the beans on one of her best secret weapons today.
What is this secret weapon, you ask? Pop-up groups.
A pop-up group is a short, limited-time Facebook group aligned with a specific promotion to get people excited, engaged, and ready to invest. Once the promotion is over the group is closed. The pop-up Jill and I will be talking about today is specific to a promotion like Jill ran as an affiliate for Digital Course Academy®️.
Every year I create a 30-day pop-up group as an affiliate for B-School where I go live throughout the launch and I'll touch on that a bit, too.
In this week’s podcast episode, Jill is sharing her ENTIRE process for creating successful pop-up groups.
Here’s a sneak peek at what you’ll learn:
- [07:31] The ideal amount of time you should leave your pop-up group open (hint: longer isn’t always better… )
- [10:14] How to come up with a topic for your pop-up group that’ll attract qualified and aligned potential buyers
- [15:21] What kind of content to share in your pop-up group and how to avoid falling into the “this sounds so great but we’re still trying to work through the free stuff you gave us” trap
- [19:09] How Jill spent $4500 and made $43,000.
- [22:48] Details on the challenge prize incentives offered to those in the group who participated in all five days of the challenge.
- [29:54] The importance of addressing your group members' limiting beliefs.
- [35:29] How to move people from the challenge to the offer and how you provide support after the challenge is over.
