Listen on…
Are you ready to scale your business lightyears ahead with an online quiz? You’ll be so glad when you do.
This week, I have quiz building expert, Chanti Zak, on the show.
Chanti’s the perfect person to show you what to do next when it comes to creating your online quiz — she’s SO good she’s even written quizzes for me!
If you’re excited about this, get ready to dive in, my friend, because I believe a million percent that this episode is just what you need to get started.
During our time together, Chanti walks us through everything you need to know about:
- How to select the PERFECT topic so your audience can’t wait to see their results
- How to layout your results so they are fun and informative
- And how to get your quiz up and converting so you can start building your email list right away
Chanti pulls out all the stops in this episode to help you fast track to hitting publish and turning your fans into email subscribers.
Psst… if you’re not sure what’s next once your audience gets their results, well, we talk about that, too. It’s my very last question for Chanti and I know you’ll love it.
Here’s a preview of the episode:
- [03:42] Quizzes work so well because humans are innately curious. We are wired to seek deeper insight and understanding. Quizzes give personalized results.
- [05:44] The three main types of quizzes include a launch quiz, signature quiz and e-commerce quiz.
- [08:36] Find a quiz for your unique goals. For instance if you're interested in list building, you'll want an evergreen signature quiz.
- [10:02] Choosing a quiz topic. Personality quizzes convert the best, but you can combine them with assessment quizzes. What do you want to achieve? Who do you want to attract? Be clear over clever!
- [14:17] The five stages of awareness. Find a topic that appeals to the people that are in the stage of awareness that you would like to target.
- [15:44] Start with the results. Get super clear on the results you are looking for before you ask the questions.
- [20:38] Platforms to make quizzes include Bucket.io and Try Interact.
- [21:49] You want quality over quantity when it comes to leads. A 50% conversion rate is good. Create a connection that resonates.
- [26:44] Ask questions first and then ask for the email. Your quiz is a starting point. The quiz results are the perfect transition for the next step.
- [31:50] Know your audience. You can create a quiz in as little as two weeks, but give yourself some grace and allow three months for a lead magnet that will work for years to come.
